Eunjoo Pluenneke

Mobile Strategy Lead & West Coast Engagement Manager

As a thought leader in the pharmaceutical community, Eunjoo has been an active speaker on the subject of mobility and has co-chaired and presented at past events for eyeforpharma and other conferences.

Eunjoo joined Pursuit in 2011 and is responsible for managing relationships with client stakeholders and delivering strategic leadership with expertise in sales and marketing technology solutions. She has also been a key contributor to ClearSky, our Field Force Enablement tool. Throughout her career, she has led numerous CRM technology strategy and solution initiatives for pharmaceutical sales and marketing organizations, which have evolved business capabilities and provided organizational cost-savings.

Prior to joining Pursuit, Eunjoo served as IS Commercial Business Partner at sanofi-aventis, where she developed several key solutions for the Commercial business in the areas of Sales Effectiveness, Digital and Mobile Capabilities, Multi-channel Marketing, Sampling/Resource Management, Incentive Compensation, Field Analytics.

Eunjoo earned an undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA and M.S. from New York University.

Eric Shooman

Director, Products

Eric is our reporting and optimization guru. He has an innate ability to distill a goal down to tangible KPIs and those KPIs into data visuals that are simple to understand. He is also responsible for CLEARVIEW, Pursuit’s proprietary business intelligence application that allows users in the field and the home office to collaborate and understand how sales and marketing are impacting customers and driving business performance.

Eric is a former field rep, turned optimization expert. His practical experience in the field gives him a clear understanding of what motivates and challenges reps. This understanding, has driven his philosophy, “Recommendations first. Supporting data second.” Eric’s perspective is that most organizations approach their Sales Team with an array of numbers, but largely leave the insights to the rep to discern themselves. He believes that a successful rep should be and will be focused on his or her customers, and therefore is not going to pour over numbers looking for a eureka. So, his solutions translate data into a recommendation the user can act on immediately. And, for the skeptical or curious types who want to know the why and not just the how, his solutions provide a underlying metrics in an accessible way. Eric’s marketing background also gives him a unique understanding of how sales and marketing interface, and is always looking for ways to optimize their joint efforts.

Prior to joining Pursuit in 2010, Eric was a marketer for Buildium, a property management SaaS startup. Before that he was a Field Professional for Novo Nordisk. Eric holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA from George Washington University.
